Our Executive Protection Specialists (Bodyguards) are fluent in dynamic protection tactics whether it is on foot or in a vehicle. We know that many times the worst threats of danger by paparazzi are while driving. Paparazzi are not only a danger to celebrities but more importantly to their families. We are professionals at being invisible to the public, if preferred, and all the while you will have the sense of confidence knowing you are being protected by the finest. Every single bodyguard on our staff has been vetted by our government level background checks, a rigorous training program that accentuates pacifying and assessing situations on site, defense strategies and evasive/protective driving. Starside Security also offers film set security. We provide professional bodyguards for celebrities on movie and television studio lots, sound stages, and on location. We can designate agents for a specific celebrity or as an entire cast and crew. We customize our detail to your specific needs. Starside Security provides armed, plain clothes security staff (bodyguards) un-armed plain clothes bodyguards, uniformed guards (armed or unarmed), undercover surveillance teams for dangerous threat assessment, armed and uniformed security staff, and event security for film sets, television and movie studio lots, music studios, concert venues, theaters and premiers of movies, live endorsement events, and any event that could require the deployment of armed bodyguards. All of Starside’s Protective agents are hand-picked and trained by our elite services program. Starside holds a Training Facility Firearms License (TFF 1279) in California, and trains in California, Arizona and Florida. All agents are trained in-house as well as by outside agencies. If an agent is outside of California they must attend a course at Starside’s Corporate Headquarters in Diamond Bar, CA (Los Angeles County) or at one of Starside’s regional offices in Boulder, CO, Phoenix, AZ, Orlando, FL or Chicago, Il prior to being assigned to one of Starside’s Clients. Agents are selected based on their professional experience, professional appearance, exemplary skills, and ability to adapt to changing environments.

Each agent must possess a number of special skills including: communication skills, defensive skills, observational skills, assessment skills, and proper judgment skills. In addition to protective measures, our agents are educated in a variety of subjects including advance work, resource surveys, country studies, emergency medical procedures (Starside always has an EMT or a Paramedic on out of country assignments), driving techniques, matters of social etiquette and cultural diversity. This training enables our personnel to blend into a client’s environment and remain as unobtrusive and inconspicuous as possible.
